MCP² Partner Organizations

The strength of MCP² lies in the partnerships that have been established. Associations representing the full range of maternity care providers in Canada have collaboratively developed this initiative, in order to collectively champion changes to the provision of maternity services and the move to more collaborative models of primary maternity care. The partner organizations include:

Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses Canada (AWHONN Canada) Canadian Association of Midwives (CAM) Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC) Society of Rural Physicians of Canada (SRPC)

Each partner is committed to promoting change in the provision of primary maternity care and the implementation of collaborative maternity care models. The partners form the Executive Committee and are responsible for providing the overall direction of the project.
